La ANM otorgó 15 nuevos títulos mineros a cinco departamentos del país

<span style="font-family:arial,helvetica,sans-serif;"><span data-uw-styling-context="true" style="font-size:16px;"><strong data-uw-styling-context="true">Diciembre 02 de 2021.</strong> Generando nuevas oportunidades para la pequeña y mediana minería y con el propósito de que el sector continúe aportando en la reactivación económica del país, la Agencia Nacional de Minería, otorgó 15 nuevos títulos mineros en los departamentos de Córdoba, Tolima, Norte de Santander, Atlántico y Valle del Cauca.</span></span>

<span style="font-family:arial,helvetica,sans-serif;"><span data-uw-styling-context="true" style="font-size:16px;">“Nuestros objetivos se enfocan en la diversificación y en el incremento de la producción minera, así como en el aumento de los niveles de formalidad de la actividad, promoviendo las mejores prácticas y la gestión con las comunidades, aportando así con el desarrollo sostenible de los territorios y el país”, aseguró, Juan Miguel Durán, presidente de la ANM.</span></span>

<span style="font-family:arial,helvetica,sans-serif;"><span data-uw-styling-context="true" style="font-size:16px;">La entrega de estos nuevos títulos se da en marco de la estrategia de reactivación del sector que se proyecta con la diversificación minera y el incremento de la exploración y producción para el país.</span></span>

<span style="font-family:arial,helvetica,sans-serif;"><span data-uw-styling-context="true" style="font-size:16px;"><img alt="" src="https://www.anm.gov.co/sites/default/files/boletin-firma-titulos2.jpg&q…; style="margin-left: 12px; margin-right: 12px; float: left; width: 336px; height: 235px;" />El ejecutivo de la ANM resaltó que la entidad trabaja continuamente en rodear a los mineros, darles alternativas y acompañarlos de forma ágil y transparente con el propósito de lograr desarrollo e inversión en las regiones, brindando más oportunidades para las familias a través de la actividad minera sostenible.</span></span>

<span style="font-family:arial,helvetica,sans-serif;"><span data-uw-styling-context="true" style="font-size:16px;">De los títulos otorgados, ocho están en la escala de mediana minería y siete en la pequeña minería. Los permisos se dan para la exploración de Carbón, cobre, oro, plata, platino, arcilla, arena y materiales de construcción en los municipios de Tierra Alta, Valencia en el departamento de Córdoba, Falan en el Tolima, El Zulia en Norte de Santander, Barranquilla y Puerto Colombia en Atlántico y Yumbo y Cartago en el departamento del Valle del Cauca.</span></span>

<span style="font-family:arial,helvetica,sans-serif;"><span data-uw-styling-context="true" style="font-size:16px;">Con esta entrega, la ANM le apuesta a la promoción de una minería responsable con todas las de la ley, que cumple con los requerimientos técnicos y es sostenible con el medio ambiente y las comunidades.</span></span>

<span style="font-family:arial,helvetica,sans-serif;"><span data-uw-styling-context="true" style="font-size:16px;">Uno de los principales retos que hemos tenido es el de aumentar los niveles de formalización en la actividad minera a través de la opción de instrumentos que eliminan las barreras de acceso, generando nuevas fuentes legales de minerales para el país.</span></span>
</p>

<span style="font-family:arial,helvetica,sans-serif;"><span data-uw-styling-context="true" style="font-size:16px;">“Con el incremento de la exploración minera en Colombia, la estimación de recursos, las reservas minerales y la consecución de nuevos proyectos, se logra desarrollar el potencial identificado para la extracción de diferentes minerales, como los que se utilizan en las nuevas tecnologías, lo que permitirá la diversificación de la matriz minera”, señaló el presidente Durán.</span></span>

<span style="font-family:arial,helvetica,sans-serif;"><span data-uw-styling-context="true" style="font-size:16px;">Finalmente, la Agencia Nacional de Minería reitera que la minería continúa siendo un importante motor de la economía y se proyecta como eje de la reactivación productiva postpandemia, gracias al potencial del territorio y las políticas creadas para facilitar la inversión minera del país.</span></span>
