La Agencia Nacional de Minería reasumirá las funciones delegatarias, hasta hace poco en manos de los departamentos de Cesar, Norte de Santander, Boyacá y Caldas. En consecuencia, la autoridad minera empezará a ejercer directamente la función de trámite y celebración de contratos de concesión así como la vigilancia y control minero que tradicionalmente ejercían las Gobernaciones de los departamentos en mención.

Para<strong>Norte de Santander</strong><span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>será a partir del<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span><strong>tres de mayo</strong>; <span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span><strong>Boyacá</strong>, el<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span><strong>29 de mayo</strong><span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>y<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span><strong>Caldas</strong>, a partir del<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span><strong>19 de junio</strong>.
